Privacy Policy

The short version

Tracko stores all your data locally on your Mac. We don't collect it, we don't see it, and we don't send it anywhere. No account is required to use the app.

What data we collect

The Tracko app (Free and Solo tiers) collects no data whatsoever. Everything — your tasks, time entries, settings, and invoices — is stored in the app's local sandbox on your Mac and never leaves your device.

If you join our waitlist on this website, we collect your email address for the sole purpose of notifying you when the app launches. We will not use it for marketing beyond that notification.

Pro tier users who enable cloud sync (when available) will have their data synced to a private database using Supabase. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest, visible only to you, and can be deleted at any time by deleting your account.

What data we do not collect

We do not collect: analytics, usage data, crash reports, device identifiers, IP addresses, or any personal information beyond what you explicitly provide. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising SDKs, or analytics libraries.

In-App Purchases

Subscriptions (Solo and Pro) are processed entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. We do not see or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to all purchase transactions.

Idle detection

The app requests permission to detect keyboard and mouse inactivity to identify when you've stepped away from your desk. This data is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted or stored beyond the app's local session.

Third-party services

The app uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The website uses Google Fonts (loaded from Google's servers) — this is subject to Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal data beyond waitlist emails, there is nothing to request, correct, or delete — except your waitlist email, which you can remove by emailing us at the address below.
